Hunter Shurtleff - Mediator
Hunter is described by attorneys and clients as having a calm, common sense approach and a solid commitment to helping parties reach a resolution. Hunter’s litigation experience began in 1995 and he has represented a vast range of clients including small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, and individuals. He actively represents clients in civil trials, including cases involving business law, construction disputes, real estate, as well as both plaintiffs and defendants involved in personal injury cases. He counsels a variety of businesses including corporations, LLCs, partnerships, sole proprietors, construction companies, bar and restaurant owners, small businesses, retail businesses, oil and gas companies and real estate owners.
In those 30 plus years of trying cases, Hunter has represented his clients in hundreds of mediations. He is a believer in the process of mediation and maintains that resolution of disputes prior to trial is the best outcome in almost all cases.
Hunter has been trained as a mediator under the standards promulgated by the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable and the standards promulgated by the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association.
